STEM and ETZ teams received Lego Education STEM training on 15th and 16th May 2017 with the coordination of Communication Department of YEĞİTEK.
With the attendance of Bilal TIRNAKÇI ,the General Manager of YEĞİTEK, and heads of departments, the first day of the training addressed questions “What is a robot?, Where can it be placed in human life?”. In addition, a robot was made with the pieces of Lego Education primary school set. On the second day of the training, robot were made with secondary school and high school level sets. Meanwhile, basic coding was instructed as well.
Moreover, he training gave the opportunity to analyse common grounds for working collaboratively with Lego Education that also contributed to FATIH Project in Education Summit. Contributing to constructivist approach in education, STEM, coding and robotics Lego Education and Department of Communication of YEĞİTEK set a training agenda. According to this agenda, the first event was Lego Education STEM training. The total 18 hours training was given at the library of YEĞİTEK. Participants received participation certificate of Lego Education Academy.
